Big Brother All-Stars

Final Update of Big Brother All-Stars - September 14
John  Hello, everyone. It is now time for you to cast your vote and submit your verdict on the Big Brother All-Stars season. As always, you will have the final say without any commentary from myself. You will be able to send along your final comments over the next two or three days. Thanks for another wonderful season everyone. It was great fun to cover the series again and communicate with all of you. Join me for 'Survivor' here. The weekly chats will begin next week. An announcement will be made on the Survivor homepage. Come join in on the fun! Take care everyone and I look forward to your final remarks on Big Brother All-Stars.

John, once again you have made a dull season bearable - Thanks. If the producers had bothered to challenge them the HGs might have been inspired to engage in more aggressive game play. CBS needs to hire producers with ingenuity and integrity. BB has had its life sucked out by these producers but thankfully, their contracts are up. May CBS finally see the light by firmly stating, "Arnold Shapiro and Alison Grodner it's official, you have both been evicted from the Big Brother house."

I think a combo Big Brother/Survivor might be interesting. It would be fun to watch 7/24 what they do on the island

Hi John, First I'd like to say thanks for all of your hard work. I have become addicted to your site. I plan to follow you through Survivior as well! I have to say overall I'm disapointed with the all star edition. I think the players were more concerned with the production than playing the game. I hope next year will be better.

Like Survivor all*stars, Big Brother all*stars was just ok. Now CBS has to just give us a Amazing Race all*stars if the "eye" network wants a all*stars that will truly shine bright. As for BigBro. I just wished BB-5's Jase, Nakomis, and Diane would have formed a alliance with BB-3's Danielle and BB-4's Alison so they could have ruled the all*star house from the start when Jase was co-HoH.

A final thanks, John. Another terrific job. My final take on this show? I'm gone unless they switch producers. Lazy and uninspired for an all-stars edition. Very disappointing. If Will hadn't stayed around, I probably would have checked out of this one. Again, thanks for a job well done.

Well John, as usual - thanks for all your updates - with my job and travel - I have not seen hardly any shows until after the fact - but as usual - you did a stand up job - Thanks for all your great insights. I just feel bad that Erica is so clueless that she doesn't even realize what an idiot she looks like on TV. See you in Survivor days

Hey John - thanks so much for another great year of coverage of BB. A few times this season I've skipped watching the show but your update is the first thing I check out every morning.....and all day. I hope it's the last all-star edition of any reality show that we see. They should be good but aren't. Why is that? Would it have been better with the Beaus of the world?

John, Thank you, once again, for the wonderful updates this season. Your work is sooooo appreciated. I hope there is a Season 8.......with changes! It needs new producers, and they need to get back to the way they did Season 1! You are the best! I sure wish they would hire you as the head Producer...that would be AWESOME! Thank You!

GOOD JOB AND THANKS
I THINK THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS SEASON WAS OF COURSE CHILLTOWN. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DULL OTHERWISE

John,
Another season come and gone. They go by so fast. As usual, I enjoyed the show very much and loved, loved, loved you updates even more. Unlike most, I am not nearly so hyper-critical of the production although there is no doubt at all that the show needs new life breathed into it. I enjoy the drama and the game and will be here again next year if the powers that be allow. Thanks again for a great season.

LEt the public have a say in the voting again, so that the people choice will count as one vote. Have more meaningful competitions, make there be a disadvantage to those that throw competitions, and let Canadians on the show.

Let everyone play for the Veto, so that there is no true backdooring. This year's change was better, but there was no way for the viewers to determine if all the houseguests had balls in the bag.

I just wanted to that I have been watching BB since the beginning. I think the show has failed due to a serious lack of leadership. Everything thing from games not working correctly to Jenbot not being well informed about the game. If you change the producers then the game may work again.

I would like to see a return to the free feeds of season one, and diary room sessions on the feeds to eliminate the chance for manipulating the players. Like radio stations CBS should get the rights to broadcast songs over the feeds, it's good promotion for the songs they play. House guest should be penalized for breaking the rules, like talking about people who haven't signed releases, and that should eliminate the flames issues

Dr. Evil, a.k.a. The Puppet Master, a.k.a. Will Kirby has been the most entertaining person in Big Brother history. He showed that his perfomance in BB2 was no fluke.. and once he got evicted, he continued his magic in the Jury house, giving Chilltown the win! Dr. Evil FTW! Hope we see him again on television someday!

A Canadian version of Big Brother should be launched.

I won't survive next summer without Janelle. I hope they find a place for her, maybe hosting the non-live shows. Thanks for your updates--I can't get through work without them.

John, thanks for all your hard work again this year. To be honest, the only reason I kept watching this year was because of Will. He is still tops in my book and I was disappointed he didn't win. Hopefully, next year will bring new producers (and a new host!) and BB will be worth watching again. See you on Cook Island!

You know what would be a good Idea? a) LET CANADIANS PLAY! also you know how on amazing race they did a family one they should do a bb like that a mom and a daughter or son or a dad and a daughter or a son, because then me and my mom would apply :)

John, I thank you for making this show much more exciting. I would love to see changes to this show including showing the competitions in their entirety. Plus, I don't want to see the houesguests state the reason why they nominated that person. Add some intrigue to it! Plus, there needs to be new producers! That's such a given! They need to stay away from gnomes and other silly things and focus on the game!

The Finale wrapped up the season nicely, I felt, especially exposing Mike's true feelings for Erika, and James's betrayal to Janelle and Season 6... and gave Janelle the spotlight she deserved as the America's Choice Winner. Go Janelle! Hope to see more of her in TV or movies. Mike won the title, but Janelle and Will were the real 'all-stars' this season, and best Big Brother contestants in history.

As a long time watcher of the series it's always frustrated me that the title character is not used more. The show is called BIG BROTHER; play to that strength. That alone would make the show more interesting. Not only would you have to outplay your fellow houseguests, you'd have to outwit the house itself. Just a suggestion...

Am I the only who enjoyed this season? Will solidified his status as the best reality show participant, Boogie solidified his status as a scum bag, Howie and Boogie pleasured themselves in a small pool box, and we got to see Janelle realize her mistakes with Will and try to make it right. Growth and transcendance. Sure the challenges were lame, but I like the interaction and the showmantical elements as much.
And John you really did a great job!

John, I came across your site during BB2 and have been coming back ever since. Thanks to you for all your insights and postings, I know you have heard it all before, but, once again Great job. Hope there is a BB8 cause I need that guilty pleasure during the non existent football season, Love to you and your family

Hi John
Thnaks again for making another unbearable season bearable. I'm still shaking my head at Mike winning...Oh well I guess if a guy who can't sing can win "Rock Star(Insert Band Name Here) then anything is possible.
Later
