Showbiz Big Brother 5 site.   John  Just before she leaves the HOH room, Drew tells her to act cool. Walking into the kitchen, Diane still has the Veto necklace on. She says to Cowboy: Doesnt it match my outfit?   John  Just before she leaves the HOH room, Drew tells her to act cool. Walking into the kitchen, Diane still has the Veto necklace on. She says to Cowboy: Doesnt it match my outfit? Cowboy visits Drew in the HOH room. Cowboy asks that he not be put up again. His heart cant take it. Cowboy: Please dont put me up. Big Brother announces to Drew: Drew, I need you to turn the music off. Drew: Okay. Drew says that after he nominates Karen, he is afraid that she and Jennifer will come after himself and Cowboy. Drew asks Cowboy if he is definitely voting out Marvin. He is. Cowboy: I would hate to say this but one of those girls are going to win this game. Drew says that the game was always in favour of the women because there has been more women than men in the house from the very start.   John  The feeds go to the fish tank. When they return, Cowboy says that he has noticed that some of the things taken from the house for the HOH competition by the producers have been returned. He thinks that he and Drew still have a chance at the HOH competition. He talks about the game going as per Gods plan. Feeds cut again. Diane revs up the Girl Power troops in the kitchen saying that if the guys wanna mess with them, they are going to get it now. Jennifer and Karen discuss the best way to clean the oven. Jennifer begins scrubbing while Diane lazes in a chair in the front room. Cowboy tells Drew in the HOH room that he thinks it is 35 minutes before the Veto Meeting. Drew turns on the spy cam when Cowboy leaves the HOH room and watches the other houseguests. He says to the screen: Which is the best strategy in this game? Who should I put up of you guys? John  Marvin tells Jennifer and Karen that he knows he is gone. He is aware nobody will use the Veto. Marvin: A nice flat Coke is all I got. Marvin meets with Cowboy in the wood bedroom. Marvin: By the way, you are safe Cowboy. She is not going to use it. What burns my ass is I trusted her. Cowboy and Drew meet with Diane in the cloud room. Diane says that Marvin is cussing her out. Drew asks why. Cowboy says that Marvin believes his eviction was all set up by Drew and Diane beforehand. Diane to Cowboy: I am not sure what I am going to do. Diane says that Marvin believes that Cowboy and Diane would vote to keep him in. Cowboy about Marvin: He has made a promise to everyone in this house. That is why Marvin is a wild card.   John  Cowboy says he would not vote for Marvin to stay because he put him up last week. Diane says she is confident that on or off the block she will be fine. Cowboy: We all know that you are safe. Drew jokes about them even needing a Veto meeting in the first place. Diane and Drew allude to something in the Diary Room but cant talk about it. Diane is called to the Diary Room. Drew says he is going to enjoy the HOH room before he has to pack up all his stuff and leave it. In the concrete room, Marvin rants to Karen that the women need to band together and kick Diane because she cannot be trusted. John  Diane leaves the Diary Room and goes directly into the concrete room and says to Marvin: You better shut your #@^#-ing mouth and stop talking trash about me. Diane and Cowboy meet in the cloud bedroom. Diane says that she is going to use the Veto so that Marvin thinks that he is gone. Cowboy wishes Diane good luck at the HOH Competition. Diane says that if Cowboy wins it, he deserves it. Diane tells Cowboy that the women dont support her like Cowboy does. Diane says that Jennifer, Karen should learn how to take risks. Jennifer is called to the Diary Room. Diane and Cowboy chat about Karen throwing competitions. Diane: Whatever the case, Marvin is going tonight and I am taking myself off the block. Diane tells Cowboy she trusts him to boot Marvin. Cowboy reaffirms that he wont vote for Marvin to stay.   John  Cowboy goes to Drew in the HOH room and explains his entire conversation with Diane. She is using the Veto so that Marvin will understand in no uncertain terms that he is done in the game. Drew leaves the HOH room and heads into the kitchen. Karen is cooking. Drew informs Jennifer and Karen that Diane might use the Veto and if she does, he will put Jennifer up...just as a pawn. He impresses upon them that his whole entire plan is to get Marvin out of the house. Karen tells Drew that she doesnt think there will be a Food Competition because there is all sorts of stuff in the storage room...like big steaks. Karen, Drew and Jennifer dont want to tell Marvin about the food. All of the conversation is shown on the feed through the spy cam Cowboy is watching in the HOH room. John  Diane stands in front of the memory wall and laughs. Diane: Oh, the irony. All of the feeds go to the fish tank. John  Diane stands in front of the memory wall and laughs. Diane: Oh, the irony. All of the feeds go to the fish tank. The Veto Meeting maybe be going on now. The feeds return for a brief moment and Marvin is walking through the front room. He runs into Jenn who drops something and apologizes. The feeds cut out again. When they return, Drew and Karen are in the HOH room they complain about the way Marvin goes off on everyone. Drew says he thinks Marvin is cool. Karen states to Drew that she or Jennifer will be fine if he puts them up as pawns. Karen thinks that Marvin will take his eviction well as the cameras are on and he doesnt want to be portrayed badly. John  Karen goes back to the cloud room where Jennifer is. Jennifer: Someone goes today and someone goes Thursday. Aint that a trip? Karen and Jennifer plot but Karen is whispering so low, it is hard to hear what in the world she is saying. Diane and Jennifer sit in the front room. Jennifer says it would stink if the HOH Competition involved the houseguests playing a game as individuals and not knowing how they fared. Diane to Jennifer: I cant believe that they are going to give us stuff from the house at the end of the show. Jennifer asks Diane if she knows how to pack. Diane says that Cowboy does. Jennifer: I dont trust him. Mike Hi John - love your site. This is my second try - apologize if you got the first one - but I did not get a confirmation. Do I understand from all of this that Drew and Diane faked last nights argument and planned this all along? John  Drew and Diane had a real argument last night. They were in the HOH room alone when it happened. Drew said he was mad at Diane because she didnt tell him of a joke being talked about last week which was for Marvin to nominate Drew as a gag because he hasnt ever been on the block. Diane waffled back and forth about if she knew about it or not. Drew then nominated Diane saying he couldnt trust her. Drew told Diane afterwards that he did all of that to fool the other houseguests into thinking their alliance isnt as strong as it once was or no longer existed in the game. It is all very weird.   John  All of the feeds have switched to the fish tank. When the feeds return, two are on the fish tank, two are on Marvin packing his things. When he is done he sits on a bed in the wood bedroom and reads the Bible. Cowboy is sleeping in the bed beside him. Karen asks for Big Brother to open the storage room because she wants to empty the kitchen garbage. Big Brother wont open the door. Someone yells out that it is because someone is in the Diary Room. John  Drew and Cowboy are in the storage room. They cant believe how much food is there. They are amazed. Drew: I cant believe how much food they gave us. Drew heads back into the kitchen and he and Cowboy share some of the quiche Karen made. Two feeds on the fish tank. Two feeds on Cowboy and Drew eating. Diane and Jennifer cross paths in the bathroom. Diane tells Jennifer that there is nothing to worry about. Jennifer isnt fretting...at least not too much. Diane comes into the kitchen and has some quiche too. Karen is cleaning up. Jennifer walks by Karen and Diane with her bag. Big Brother: Just to let you know, the live show is in less than an hour. John  READER ALERT: At this point, I assume that the Veto Meeting was held and Diane used the Veto on herself otherwise Jennifer wouldnt be packing. Only the houseguests who are nominated have to pack before the live show. The houseguests were just warned a few minutes ago that the live show would be in less than an hour. Joe S. "The live show is in less than an hour"? Its only 5 EST. Do they rehearse for the live show or do they record parts of it beforehand? John  Tomorrow nights show isnt live. It is being filmed and edited today. The houseguests are just being told that it is a live show. John  In the wood bedroom, Karen helps Marvin with the Big Brother symbol in his hair. Karen and Marvin talk as if the show is airing live tonight. chiro girl umm, what the heck? What is all this about a live show? When will that show be airing? Tonight? Great site btw! Loves it! John  Hey Chiro! Thanks for the kind words. Here is the deal, there is no live show tonight or tomorrow night. What they are doing today is being taped for Saturday nights episode. The houseguests are being led to believe that they will be on-air live tonight when that is clearly not the case. So, tomorrow nights episode is not live. It is taped and edited tonight.   John  All of the feeds are now on the fish tanks. When they come back, two feeds are on the tanks and two are on Marvin getting dressed up in the wood bedroom and singing to himself. In the bathroom, the women are getting ready too. Drew steps into the HOH room with a white dress shirt on. Jennifer and Marvin are sitting in the front room in the nomination chairs. Marvin says he wishes Jennifer luck. He likes the way she played the game. She is straight-up with people. She thanks him. John  Cowboy is brushing his teeth in the bathroom. Karen is doing her hair. Diane enters. Karen asks Diane what she thinks of her shirt. Diane says she should either wear a belt or put on a new shirt. Diane does her eye make-up. Diane to Cowboy as Julie Chen: So, Cowboy how does it feel not being on the block? Cowboy jokes: I miss it. Can I sit between Jennifer and Marvin? Cowboy: So at any time, they should be calling us. Diane: The quicker, the better.   John  Jennifer and Marvin joke around as they sit in the nomination chairs in the front room. Jennifer: It is a summer of fun! Marvin: Those madcap houseguests are at it again! Cowboy comes into the front room. He sits down. Marvin tells Cowboy that he has said his goodbyes but he is going to cause some drama for camera purposes. He cant leave the house just whistling. Marvin goes off to get his cigar and returns. Jenn said she thought the live show began 10 minutes ago. She doesnt understand what is going on. Marvin says that this live show feels weird. Marvin: From HOH to being on the block. Only in the Big Brother house can things change so quickly. Jennifer says it is like gambling. John  Jennifer to the producers: Okay, guys. Lets get the ball rolling. Karen walks into the front room. Karen: So much for the 2:15. Diane is with Karen. Cowboy wonders what questions Julie Chen will ask. Karen doesnt even know if they will get to see Julie Chen. She jokes that she might appear on the plasma screen television in her sweats at home. Cowboy wishes good luck to Marvin and Jenn. Marvin says that it is no big deal. It is a game and he doesnt take it in a personal way.   John  All the feeds are now on the fish tanks and will probably stay that away until the fake live show is over, folks. I will return shortly. John  *** End of Sept. 3, morning - afternoon update *** John  *** Update Sept. 3, evening *** John  Everyone: All of the feeds are still on the fish tank. John  Everyone: All of the feeds are still on the fish tank. When they return, there is no sign of Marvin in the Big Brother house. Karen and Jennifer are in the cloud bedroom talking about how Diane is a good person until she gets threatened and then she gets demented. John  Jennifer is walking around and the HOH key is around her neck. John  Diane speaks to Jennifer alone. Diane says that she can use her as a pawn. Diane: I am not scared. Jennifer asks who should go next Drew or Cowboy. Diane: They are both shaken. Diane says that in the HOH Competition, it was the first time she thought Cowboy was actually smart. Diane tells Jennifer she just needs to know what the nominations will be beforehand. Diane: If you put up Drew and Cowboy, what if Cowboy wins the Veto? Jennifer brings up her promise not to put Cowboy up again. Diane: What if you started out with two pawns? They wont change the Veto.   John  Jennifer tells Diane that she might put her up as a pawn. Diane says that is okay. Chatting to Jennifer in the kitchen, Karen calls Cowboy a snitch. Karen says she wanted to be the one to take out Cowboy. It wouldve been quick and clean that way. Cowboy is laying in bed lost in thought. Drew is in the cloud bedroom getting changed. John  Karen tells Jennifer that she doesnt think Cowboy would ever vote against her on the jury. Jennifer is okay. Karen: There is no one left. Karen notices that Marvins picture on the memory way is already been switched with the black and white eviction photo. Diane is back in the kitchen and says she might take a nap. Diane mentions that Jenn and Karen are the only two cooks left in the house now.   John  Diane to Jennifer: Now might be a good time to ask Drew why he put me on the block. He might be seeing clearer today. Diane to Jennifer: I hope you get some good music. Diane and Jennifer are going to take naps. Karen wants to take a shower. Drew is laying in bed reading his letter from home. Karen says that if Marvin saw the steaks they have in the storage room, he wouldve died. Karen to Diane: It didnt matter who was on the block next to Marvin. If Marvin won the Veto, it wouldve been Cowboy who was gone. Diane says she thinks that Cowboy or Drew have to go next. As Jenn walks by with her suitcase, Karen says to her: We are talking about your burdens of life.   John  Jennifer speaks to Karen and Diane about having to justify to Cowboy why he is going on the block. Drew continues to read his letter from his brother. Diane claims that Drew knows that his eviction is coming and that he would be fine with being nominated. Diane: Thank God Marvin is gone now. Karen: Marvin had everyone on edge. Karen about Cowboy: I cant listen to him any more. I cant listen to him any more. Jenn is going to tell Cowboy that he is being nominated because thats what the house wants. Diane is going to speak to Drew and pick his brain. Karen says that they shouldnt play games with Cowboy. Too many people have treated him like that. John  Karen to Jennifer: Now Diane wants to be best friends again. It is like...where are you? Karen says that Diane told her to her face she wasnt using the Veto and then in three hours...she changed her mind. Diane is in the bedroom trying to convince Drew that Cowboy should go next. Jennifer mentions to Karen that Julie Chen talked about her promise to Cowboy when she was HOH last time. John  Taking a break to write the Marvin eviction story...be back later, folks. John  *** Hey, everyone! I am back. Lets get caught up on what happened since I bolted to do the Marvin eviction story in Jam! It is now on the site if you wish to check it out. Just follow the link at the top of this chat. *** John  Jennifer joked to Karen as she took a shower: I got nominated, won HOH and got my period all in the same day. Karen says that it would be prudent of Jennifer to put up Diane and Cowboy. Jennifer replies that Drew and Karen are the only houseguests who never lied to her. Big Brother jokes around and announces: Houseguests. It is time to get up for the day.   John  Karen and Jennifer chat in the HOH room. They wonder if Diane threw the HOH Competition. They dont think so. They mention maybe putting Diane up. Diane enters the HOH with some food. Karen asks Diane if she spoke to Drew and if everything is okay. Diane says that Drew is not going to be bed buddies with her any more. Diane thinks that Drew wants to separate the game and their relationship. She has told Drew so many times that nobody cares if they are around each other. Drew wont listen. Drew is in the backyard putting by himself. John  Diane cant believe that Big Brother played the morning wake-up call in the evening. Diane: You know what I am excited about? Having a shower and not having Marvin sitting there watching me. Karen said she did Marvins hair before he left for old times sake. Karen: I went to school with guys like Drew. They are like contemplate-the-universe kind of guys. Maybe he feels weird being around you because he put you on the block. Diane: I wish I knew what was going on in that head. Diane leaves to get more chips. Karen: I knew that Drew was going to be like this. All withdrawn again. Diane returns. All three women munch away on three kinds of chips. John  Karen says they should get Cowboy to play a card game. Diane: It might be a strategy. You know, lay down and play dead. People will feel sorry for me. Karen says the game comes down to the Veto Competitions. Karen says that Marvin getting kicked was for Drew. Karen says Marvin did well and then freaked out and lost the Veto Competition. Karen about Marvin: He contributed a lot to the living situation in here. He wigged out when he left because I think he thought that at least Cowboy would throw him a vote. Karen to Jennifer: So they are making you nominate tomorrow and the Veto Ceremony is on Sunday and the Veto Meeting is on Monday? Jennifer: I think so.   John  Karen, Jennifer and Diane mock the Horsemen. Karen about Jase: That douche bag didnt even deserve to be in sequester. Diane: I wonder what Cowboy is doing right now. Karen: I think he is in the Diary Room. My conversations with Cowboy make my ears bleed. Jennifer mocking Cowboy: I like to act. I miss my family. I like to act. I miss my family. Diane: ...or I am poor. The wwomen salute each other. Jennifer: So far, so good. Jennifer: If Cowboy wins the Veto then Drew will just have to go. Karen insists that Cowboy has to go because if he wins HOH, it will be so bad in the house. Diane: Plus, we know what Drew will do already. Karen about Cowboy: I just hope he doesnt get the Veto. Karen says if she wants when Jennifer talks to Cowboy about being put up, the rest of Girl Power can back her up. Karen about Cowboy: He is polite. He is helpful. He is congenial. He just doesnt realize he is a pain in the ass sometimes. John  Cowboy enters the HOH. He tells Jennifer says he would love to be in the final four. If he won HOH, she wouldve been safe. Cowboy: I know you have your alliance people and youve got to do what you have got to do in this game. I love Drew. He is a brother. Jennifer: Even if I put you up, I would give you the respect of putting you up on nomination day and give you the chance to fight for the Veto. John  Cowboy: I just wanted to tell you if I won HOH, you wouldve been safe. Jennifer: I can tell you that if it comes to a tie vote, I wont vote you out. Cowboy: Thank you. Cowboy says he will fight for the Veto 120 per cent and my future is on the line. Jenn: I want you to fight tooth and nail. I made promises with other people at the start. Cowboy: I understand. This is part of the game. Cowboy says there will be no hard feeling. Cowboy comments that he like how Marvin left. It was so professional of him. Cowboy: I told Drew, if I am against Jennifer in the end, I am gone. The five that we have here is a good group. John  Cowboy: I would love to be here in the final four and I am hoping to be with you here in the end because it is better for you. Cowboy: I did not want to dodge you because you deserved the win and thats not how I play this game. Cowboy says he is a man of his word and therefore he respects the fact that Jennifer must honour her word to her alliance. Cowboy: You are the tough one and I am the sensitive one. Cowboy is going to make a hamburger but he cant use the grill because there are ants all over it. Riph Hey John, love the updates. What do you think are the odds Nik puts up Drew and Diane? After all, Dianes switched sides more times than Drew and Cowboy combined! John  Hey Riph. As you can see, Jennifer is targeting Cowboy and Drew...and Cowboy just unknowingly gave Jennifer all of the excuses she needs to work to get Cowboy out. I would agree that Diane cannot be trusted at all to keep her word. For Jennifer, Karen and Cowboy are more trustworthy but she may not feel she can beat Cowboy in front of the jury. Jennifers best chance at winning the game is to take Diane or Karen with her to the end. She can say Diane betrayed everyone and that Karen kinda just floated around. In a game like Big Brother, it is not just who you can trust but who you can beat in the finals. It is the same reason Brian took Clay with him to the finals of Survivor Thailand. In fact, that strategy has been used a lot in Survivor. ouija board girl So Jennifer is going to put up Michael again? Twice she will have broken her promise to him. Her word means nothing and she has no right to judge Adria. I think she should put up Drew and Diane and let them squirm for a while and turn on each other. What do you think? John  Jennifer did break her word to Cowboy but...he gave her permission to. The first time Jennifer was going to nominate Cowboy, she took him aside beforehand and laid the situation out to him. He agreed to be put up. In this instance, he has agreed again to go on the block and wont hold it against Jennifer at all. Diane and Drew might be good to nominate but yu have to think a step ahead too. If Diane is booted, Drew will still align himself with Cowboy and then it would be Karen and Jenn against Drew and Cowboy. If Drew goes, will Diane work with Karen to take out Jennifer? The best scenario for Jenn would be boot Drew, then Diane (cannot be trusted) and then Cowboy. She could beat Karen at the jury vote because Jennifer was a better player in the end and Karen annoys people. The Mole I believe Karen has the best chance.. If it came up to her and Jen? Who would JOHN THE GOD OF BB choose..? I personally would love Cowboy John  I thank you for the God comment...but I am not worthy. I really am not. What drives me to work so hard on this site is my passion for what I do and all of the great readers who have supported the site and myself as well. You guys deserve the best reporting that I can offer and I try to do that. Thats the least everyone deserves for all the kind words and backing. If I was on the jury and had to pick between Karen and Jennifer? I would give it to Jennifer simply because she has always been herself and played more strategically than Karen. For the most part, Karen has been the puppet master and had other people pull the strings for her. Plus, Karen has sucked up to people while Jenn hasnt. Jenns gameplay has been more direct and straight forward and Karen has hid behind other people. For that fact alone, I would give Jenn the half million. Plus, I think deep down, Karen is a decent person too and second place with 50,000 aint bad either. Clicker What other TV shows do you watch besides Big Brother and who do you want to win the most and the least? John  Honestly, beyond reality shows, I dont watch much of your standard TV fare. I would rather slap a movie into the VCR or DVD player. My enthusiasm for pro wrestling is gone so I dont watch that any more. The regular reality shows that I do not miss are Big Brother, Survivor, The Mole and The Amazing Race. When it comes to regular TV shows, I am a big fan of the Justice League (now Justice League Unlimited), Teen Titans and Spider-Man animated series. How I wish my cable operator would pick up The Cartoon Network. Arggg! When the new episodes arent on in Canada yet, I download them off the Net. Shhhh. Dont tell anyone. I dont want any sitcoms like Raymond or anything. I watch CSI once in awhile but dont make it a priority. Since I was a film critic for many years (and might start that again soon) and a film fan since I was young, I prefer to watch movies than TV. Who would I like most to win? Jennifer. Who would I not want to win? Diane. John  The houseguests are eating dinner. Cowboy made a hamburger for Drew. He thanks him for it. Drew tells Cowboy that some people on the Internet type everything the houseguests say and post it for people to read. Drew says in the letter, his Dad says that he has been printing stuff like that out. Drew says that his mother would love Jennifer. She is a teacher and loves smart kids. Jennifer: I would sit there and tell her what is wrong with the school system. Sports stars need to be paid less and teachers more. Cowboy: I agree. Cowboy says he would be set if he got a deal like the actors on Friends. Jennifer is pissed off that teacher get okay pay while coaches get so much more. She doesnt think that is fair at all. Drew: If they put more money into schools, imagine what a smarter country we would be. Karen is out of the bathroom and joins everyone else in the kitchen.   John  Drew says that at least now, he feel comfortable leaving his beer in the fridge. Jennifer jokes about Diane: She can only cook when she is drunk. Diane: I dont like to cook because I dont like screwing a lot of food up in the process. The houseguests joke about how much weight Jun put on last year in the Big Brother house. Cowboy says that his overwieght fiancee used to laugh at Jun because Jun thought she was so sexy and she wasnt. John  Cowboy says that he is in better shape since being on the show. He lifts up his shirt and shows off his abs. Karen says one of the Internet questions she was asked in the Diary Room was how she got so hot? Karen: I told them I must of been lit on fire. Are they watching the same show? Are they watching CBS? Cowboy says that one Halloween he dressed up as a female and went to work like that since there was a costume contest at work. Karen: Maybe I should give you that green skirt after all. Cowboys says a group of hispanics thought he was hot...until he turned around. Diane: You know hispanics. They are always shouting out comments to girls. John  Cowboy tells some other stories about how he always dresses up as a woman at Halloween. Cowboy: I promised myself I wouldnt do it again unless it was for big money on the big screen. Cowboy asks everyone if they would disguise themselves if they were mobbed by people everywhere they went after the series is over. Karen: I dont think we have to go to that extreme. Karen: I am like falling asleep. John  Cowboy about Marvin: I was really shocked that he gave me his Bible. Karen: That was really nice of him. Carol Is cowboy serious about this acting thing? I havent seen or heard anything interesting come out of his mouth at all. Mind you, if he plays his cards right, he could get a co-starring role alongside John Travolka! John  ..or maybe David SWIMMER from Friends. :) Ah, Cowboy just likes to entertain people and he is really naive. He comes from country roots and Hollywood is all new to him. He doesnt understand how the business works or anything. I just hope that he doesnt feel badly when he realizes the truth about outside fame when it comes to Big Brother. John  The houseguests are planning to play card. Jennifer and Karen are thinking of going to bed. They are tired. Karen is going to play cards any way. John  *** End of Sept. 3rd, evening update *** John  *** Update Sept. 4, morning - afternoon *** John  The houseguests are in dreamland. This is what trouble the hamsters got into last night. Booze arrived as they were playing cards. The final five toasted each other. As they sit around the kitchen table and talk, the houseguests reveal that Marvin didnt get a single vote to stay. Cowboy says that he would love to do a photo shoot featuring all of the BB5 men. In the HOH room, Karen and Jennifer talk about whether they can trust Diane. Karen comments that Diane has lied to her so often, how can Jennifer trust her any more. John  Karen reveal something to Jennifer that only her mother and Larry know. Karen shows her something under the covers. Karen says that an eating disorder changed her development. Jennifer: Thats nothing to worry about. Karen says she was worried the other houseguests would find out. Karen: Just trying to balance things out. Im not one for artificial. I never thought it was cool to put things in your skin. So, for twenty dollars a Wonderbra. Karen says that Jennifer is the first person she has told this to outside of Larry and her mother. Jennifer says she never would have noticed the difference. John  Once they had woken up this morning, Karen was washing some dishes in the kitchen. Jennifer was grabbing something to eat. Karen groaned about Marvin making wonderful meals in the house but using way too many dishes. Outside on the patio, Diane tells Karen and Jennifer she wished she had won HOH. She is getting homesick. Karen and Jennifer say there is so much food in the storage room that they cant possibly eat it all themselves. They discuss going into the Diary Room and telling Big Brother to take some of it and donate it to the needy. Jennifer says so much chicken goes bad in the house because no one eats it.   John  All of the feeds are on the fish tank. It could be the Nomination Meeting. Not sure. When the feeds return, Jennifer and Drew are finishing up a conversation in the bathroom. Jennifer: Just because you are nominated doesnt mean you are leaving, right? Jennifer and Drew go back outside where everyone is sitting at the patio table. Cowboy is playing solitaire. It appears the nominations havent been done yet as the cams werent off long enough.   John  Diane and Jenn talk about some reality show filmed in Texas about being a bartender. Jennifer and Diane start naming some of the drinks they like. Each everyone chats about their favourite bars. J.P. Fan :) Things that make me go hmmmmmmmm? Sometimes ya gotta wonder where the hamsters heads are at... when they forget about 24/7 cameras and mikes... like when Karen revealed something personal about herself to Nakomis that she said only her mom and husband know. Well... duh. Its nice that she wanted to share the info with Nak, but if its THAT personal, why not wait til after the show is done and over! Argh. Makes me nuts when they forget theyre in a virtual fishbowl. John  Hey! From what I have heard from former houseguests, after being in the house for so long, they actually forget the cameras are there and at time it slips their minds that almost everything they do is being broadcast on the Internet. Whats Karens big secret? I am a man, so pardon the terminology, but I believe that she wears gel pads in her bras or something of that nature. I dont know. I dont consider that a big deal that someone has to keep it a secret but maybe for Karen it is a reminder of a painful part of her life. I am glad though that she has apparently found something that makes her feel better about herself and not resorted to implants. Good for her. John  Diane, Karen and Drew discuss cars. Karen says she likes owning a used or dated car. She doesnt care about the look. She just wants something to get her from one place to another. It is nice not having to worry about scratches or damage to it either. Drew jokes: Go ahead, key my car. I dont care. Diane says her sister keyed her own car just to get a paint job. Drew: Oh, my God. Diane: In high school, my sister painted her car lime green. Drew: What was your sister thinking? Diane: She was in a ghetto phase. Karen describes how her muffler feel off her car and some guy picked it up and brought it to her once she had parked her car. Laura Before I ask the question I would like to say you are doing a great job! Ok here it is, why in the world do all reality TV show contestants yack about being honest and never telling a lie and about their character, my God its for money. All of contestants lie at one time or another. And I think the biggest bull is someone bringing God into the game. Makes me wonder who some of them think they are when they say they prayed for the others. John  Hi, Laura. Thanks so much for the kind comments. I agree. It is pretty self-righteous of someone to put themselves on a higher plane than someone just because of their religious beliefs. In any game like Survivor or Big Brother, uyou gotta lie at one point or another. Even if it is just to tell someone that you know nothing about a particular plot or that you arent voting for them when you really are. I guess there are just differen degrees of lying. There is lying because you have to save yourself (self-preservation) and lying to pull a scam on someone. If Karen lies to someone about how she cast her vote so that people wouldnt figure out what alliance she is in, that is one thing. If Diane makes a pact with someone with the intention of never keeping the promise, that is something else entirely. In my mind, the only person you can trust in such a game is yourself. You have to go in expecting people to lie to you whether because they meant to or because the circumstances changed. John  That is why I say you should never, ever allow yourself to be put on the block in Big Brother even as a pawn. It boggles my mind how many people in BB5 have actually offered to do that. This may be harsh...but thats absolutely moronic. That has been the gameplay this year though. Mostly it has been incredibly poor. The most common mistake is people allowing personal feelings about someone get in the way of a good strategy. Duh. John  Drew and Diane tell Jennifer that they heard the Happy Birthday song from over the wall. It sounded like it was being played on someones cell phone. Drew is playing solitaire now. Diane says that she may go wash and blow dry her hair for the Nomination Meeting. Drew kids: Dont go overboard now. Jenn: I guess Veto is probably tomorrow. Diane: I hope so. Cowboy returns from being inside the house. Karen is not there either. Jennifer guesses that the Nomination Meeting wont be until 4 or 5. Drew: The live show airs tonight. Cowboy: They have Internet feeds. People are gonna know who is missing. Drew: Thats what I think. John  Cowboy leaves. Jennifer: One person leaving can change the entire mood of the house. Drew: Absolutely. Cowboy is messing with the BBQ. He says it is still covered in ants. He is gonna roast them and scrape them off. Jenn to Drew: I think I am gonna get dressed. Drew asks Jenn if the producers said if the nominations would be in the early or late afternoon. Jenn: They just said afternoon. Drew says he might lay out in the sun and then get showered. Drew says that the producers asked him to get excited in the Diary Room about being HOH when he really didnt want it last time. Jennifer said they did the same thing to her yesterday and jokes that they asked her to cry in the Diary Room.   John  When Jenn leaves, Cowboy shouts out to Drew: Whats up, bro? Drew: Nothing. Just biding my time. Cowboy starts singing. Jennifer comes back outside. Jennifer is having a beer. Drew and Jenn talk about playing solitaire. Drew goes inside. Diane is in the kitchen. She is miffed about Drews comment on the patio about doing her hair. Drew insists he was just kidding. Diane says he should be more clear about what he means. Drew: It is funny how we communicate differently. Diane about Marvin: I dont miss s--t about him except he has funny things to say. Diane admits that Marvin kissed her twice. Once was a peck at the start of the season. Drew: You just let anyone kiss you? Diane: Pecks mean nothing to me. Drew: I cant believe you let him kiss you twice. Diane says it was an unwilling kiss. When the feeds return, Diane is speaking to Cowboy. She tells him that her plan is to win the Veto and get Karen up then out of the house. Diane says that she, Cowboy and Drew can take out Jennifer. Cowboy confirms that he and Drew are on the block. John  Drew joins the conversation. She insists that Cowboy and Drew have to throw the Veto Competition so she can win it, use the Veto and get Karen put up. When Diane leaves, Drew and Cowboy say that if it doesnt seem Diane is going to win, they will push harder to win. Speaking to Karen outside, Jennifer admits that the producers called her dad first to be on the show. Jennifer says she told the producers she didnt have anything better to do during the summer when they turned to her instead. Karen said she applied for Big Brother 3. John  As they continue eating, the houseguests discuss the morphed picture challenge and how it took so long to play. Karen says that Marvin asked her whose eyes were on the one that stumped him. Karen didnt tell them they were hers. Karen tells the others that Marvin was never looking at her eyes any ways. John  The houseguests still think the series will end on Sept. 25th. Karen believes there will be some final press. She thinks that even if they have to stay around for a couple of days it will be considered a week when it comes to their stipend. Karen mentions that the week they spent sequestered will also be on their stipend at the end. Karen advises that Big Brother will be using more of what they say in the house on television now because there are only five of them now. The houseguests chat about just wanting to make it to the sequester portion of the game. Karen tells everyone it is going to be strange when she gets out of the house and there are no cameras following her any more. Karen mentions that if anyone asks her things about the series, she is going to say in the contract it states that the houseguests cant talk about their time on the show unless CBS approves it.   John  The houseguests agree that the final two people will only be staying in the house for a few days. She thinks it was treat people like you want to be treated.   John  The houseguests agree that you cannot go through the Big Brother game not being yourself. Such a thing is impossible. Karen tells the others that Natalie and Adria are fitness champs. She kinda figured it out through Adrias comments. Diane calls fitness competitors like that are cheesy. Diane doesnt know why women in those competitions have to dance and things. Men dont in theirs. Cowboy asks Karen about the massage she promised him. Karen tells Cowboy to come over and she will show him what Will taught her. Karen massages Cowboys back and shoulders.   John  Big Brother tells the houseguests to go to the storage room. Drew, Diane and Jennifer think booze is there so they split. As she continues to massage Cowboy, Karen tells him she has so much respect for him and that the viewers will be proud of how he played the game. Karen reminds Cowboy that being part of the jury is a wonderful responsibility because every vote counts in the end. Karen and Cowboy go to see what booze is available. All Karen wants is a diet pop. Cowboy says making the final four is one of his goals. After that, whatever happens...happens. Diane: I swear. I will save you. Diane says the only possible way things will work out is if she wins the Veto. If Cowboy or Drew does, she is going up on the block. John  As Cowboy listened to the CD in the HOH room, Drew came in and spoke to him. Cowboy claims that everyone in the house is scared of him. He needs to survive his nomination and win HOH. Cowboy says that his conversation with Karen in the hot tub tipped him off that he has a good chance with the jury and the others know that. Drew: Karen tells people what they want to hear. As everyone goes to sleep, Drew asks Diane if she really wants to see him outside of the house. Diane says she is in love with Drew. Drew kids: No, you are not. They chat about possibly being the final two. John  Once they had woken up this morning, Karen and Jennifer examine the fridge. He doesnt know if he can trust Diane to carry through with her plan to save him and Cowboy. John  Drew looks out the window while they are on a lockdown for the Veto Competition. He sees huge cages outside in the backyard. Thinking it might be an endurance challenge, Drew goes to the bathroom. When the competition occurs, we are fish tanked. When the feeds return, Cowboy and Drew are happy as can be. Diane won the Veto. They are hoping she keeps her promise, takes Drew off the block, Karen gets nominated and Karen is voted out. Diane joins Cowboy and Drew. Cowboy says that at the Veto Meeting he is going to ask Diane to use it on Drew. Diane says by the time Jennifer and Karen figure out the plan at the Veto Meeting it will be way too late. Diane admits that the only person who wont hate her on the jury is Will. Before we get started with the updates, lets check out what you are pondering this evening. Cindy Lou Im trying to confirm if the Veto winner can or cannot be put on the block? John  Hey Cindy. All of the Vetos won on this edition of Big Brother are Golden Vetos. If the Golden Veto holder uses the Veto, they themselves cannot be put on the block. Because of that, if Diane saves Drew, Jennifer has no one else to nominate except Karen. Kitchener ON When someone uses wins the Veto competion - and chooses to use it. Is it a rule that the Veto winner can NOT be put up. Is that why Diane is sure that Nakomis will put up Karen? John  If the Veto Diane won is a Golden Veto and Big Brother doesnt change its status, yes. Jennifer has no other choice but to put up Karen in Drews place. Drew and Diane will be the only votes too for eviction. Rachel Diane is really making me mad. Who does she have an alliance with?? Who is she loyal to? I think the only person left who has played this with any honour is Jennifer. John  Dianes gameplay has been absolutely strange. Her scheme this week with Drew and Cowboy is a stroke of genius but if she implements it, she is torching another two jury votes. She is hated by the twins, she backstabbed Marvin and now she is gonna betray both Karen and Jennifer. I just dont get it at all. The ultimate goal of the game is to win the jury vote...unless you are satified going home with $50,000 when you couldve had half a million. Winning the jury vote is why the under the radar strategy is worked by some. Like Jennifer said...Why waste your bullets when your enemies will shoot themselves? I am not a fan of the under the radar strategy but there is no doubt that in certain circumstances it works. Nightkitty Hi John, Now that this is Drews first time on the block, do you think that means that the houseguests view him as less of a threat than Cowboy? Thanks for all the hardwork! John  No problem Nightkitty. Drew is better at the competitions than Cowboy but when it comes to the jury vote, Cowboy is a bigger threat. It doesnt matter any how. If Diane keeps her promise (you never know with her), neither are leaving this week. flush Admit it John, there are no tech guys! Changing up the way the slideshow works is not high on the list. You should know that without the tech support at CANOE, there would be no Big Brother chat. They wrote the program that does everything you see here. They also worked wonders like making the links to the chat always direct the readers to the latest version so people arent lost in limbo. There have been other problems that have cropped up that you havent seen here because they corrected them. VCoolness, I say. Currently, the Survivor: Vanuatu chat is being developed by them. As far as I can tell, The Amazing Race does a fair job of running their game. I dont see too many instances of manipulation or rigging going on. It seems to me that most teams get screwed because of happenstance or they mess up badly and cost themselves time. The only thing I say is that they should dump the non-boot portions of the race. Include more teams and have one sent home every single week. Honestly, thats where I can see manipulation coming into play. Again, from everything I have seen, the game seems balanced. Thats why most people rate it as a solid and respectable reality series. trustworthy Fact: Adria and Natalie made an alliance with Drew and Diane. Diane turned on that alliance and voted them both out. How is it that Adria is blamed for abandoning the pinkie swear alliance but when Diane does it to them shes just "untrustworthy" and Adria is a monster??? Very unfair. Oh and just because you tell someone of your intention to put them up doesnt negate the promise you made to them not to ie. Nokomis and Cowboy. John  The twins and Diane did break the so-called pinky-swear. They did so as soon as they formed the Twins Alliance. You are correct. Diane is as bad as the twins or even worse. I dont consider anyone a monster for abandoning an alliance and creating a new one. The game shifts and so do alliances. What bothers me is if someone betrays, betrays and betrays to the point that their word means nothing at all...like Diane. Adria clearly treated her promises a lot different than Diane has. The deal with Cowboy and Jennifer the first time was that she asked him if was okay with being nominated despite their promise to each other. Cowboy agreed and therefore he released her from that promise at that time. Calgary John Also, I dont get why Cowboy hasnt been exposed by anyone yet...why not? Also, does Nakomiss third term as HOH affect her standing in any way? And finally, now that Adria and Marvin are both gone, who has the biggest target on their back? John  Jennifer says that at her high school if you did anything else besides accept your diploma (like cause a scene) you didnt get one. Diane tells the others that one kid in her class brought coffee laced with booze and got caught for it. Karen wonders if what she said a few minutes ago about a former classmate could be termed as slander. She is really fretting. She goes into the Diary Room to ask about it. Diane: Could that happen? Jennifer: Oh, yeah. If they broadcast that there could be a big fat law suit. (Editors note: The feeds were at the fish tank during Karens conversation, I believe.) John  The feeds cut to the fish tank. When the feeds return Jennifer says to Karen: So it is fine if it is only a rumour? Karen: Yeah. Drew to Karen: So everything is okay? Karen: Yeah. On my Netscape and Explorer browsers at home and at work, it is white lettering on a black background. Hmmm. The problem could have to do with older versions of browsers or how someone sets their text. I wonder too if the colour code is forced or not. Meaning on our end, we can set the text to appear a certain way no matter what. Hmmmm. Karen looks like she was just asked if she speaks Russian. John  Diane and Jennifer speak about senior skip day at school. Cowboy says that he was 18 in his final year of high school. He wishes his parents were more involved in his schooling. He said that he could sleep in all the time and they did nothing. Cowboy: If I was a troubled kid, it would be different. Karen says she had to be in school all the time but would get back from partying with her future husband at 4:00 a.m. Karen says she didnt miss a day at school.   John  Diane says she was on the honour roll in high school and then in college failed every course she took. Karen talks about how much debt college and university kids pay. Jennifer says the finals for Big Brother were three days before the finals for school. The houseguests chat about the New York Strip steaks they just ate. Diane terms them as stuff you see on a menu that you cannot afford. Drew: Thats what those were? Cowboy comes back from the Diary Room. Big Brother got them some items they needed to refill the first aid kit.   John  The houseguests chat about how to best kill ticks. The general consensus is that olive oil works well. The guys move inside as the women move to the patio chairs. The women put a log on the fireplace. Diane: I am about to get my period, just so you all know. Cowboy comes outside and starts taking about Saved By The Bell: The College Years. Cowboy about the series: That was a good one. Karen: What was that show Johnny Depp starred in? Diane: 21 Jump Street. Franz Is there a way to see/hear more than one feed at a time? Not the quad feed, but like in separate windows so you can see/hear more than one screen at a time so you dont have the lag time connecting between the particalur feeds? John  Not that I know of, man. It is either the Quad (which most of the time is two fish tanks and two feeds on the same thing) or one feed alone. My connect time between them isnt that long. Last night, Karen and Jennifer sat on the patio. Karen says she hopes that Diane doesnt use the Veto. Jenn says she will speak to Diane later. Speaking with Drew, Jenn asks him about the Veto situation. Drew says he doesnt mind taking one of the team and staying on the block as long as Cowboy is voted out. Jenn confronts Diane about using the Veto. Jennifer reminds Diane that if she does, Karen must go up on the block. As Drew and Diane goof around under the covers, Karen and Jennifer meet in the kitchen. Jennifer says that Diane told her to her face she wouldnt use the Veto and that Cowboy should be voted out this week. Karen: She promised both of us she wouldnt use it. John  Karen tells Jennifer that any time she has voted someone out, she has warned them. She wants the same respect in return. Karen says that when Diane gets power in the game, she becomes corrupt. Karen calls Diane a little brat. Karen says she doesnt mind being on the block but if she is sideswiped out of the house, she will be pissed. To wake up the houseguests, Big Brother played the Americas Choice theme. Diane wonders if there will be another one soon. Cowboy is up and replacing the batteries in his microphone. John  Cowboy asks Karen how she slept. Karen got up in the dark this morning and walked into a wall. Karen jokes: How embar-asking! Cowboy: Not at all. Jennifer gets something to eat in the kitchen. Diane is doing her make-up in the bathroom. Cowboy brushes his teeth.   John  Karen and Jenn talk on the patio. Karen: I look like such a fool with my husband watching. I just need to make a sign that says jackass. Jennifer says that it isnt over for Karen yet. Karen: Even Marvin didnt get backdoored. Even Adria didnt get backdoored. I feel like an idiot. Jennifer: It might not happen. Karen: Yes, it will. Karen: I guess I deserve it if I didnt see it. Jennifer: I dont think you are getting backdoored. I really dont. Karen about Drew and Diane: Without me around, they dont have to honour the promises. Jennifer is mad because she doesnt understand why Diane is sneaking around and just cant be honest about what she might be planning. Karen: It is a smack in the face because I have always looked out for her. Karen about Drew and Diane: She has been caught in lies. Her word means nothing to him. Karen: I am going to go get my make-up on so I can look good for my shining moment of ass #$@*#$. Karen heads inside. Jennifer plays solitaire on the patio table.   John  Diane is making eggs. Cowboy is eating a Pop Tart. Jennifer is having another cup of coffee. She heads back outside to the patio. Karen, Cowboy, Dianre and Drew are in the kitchen area. There is a tense silence. Nobody is talking much. Drew, Karen and Cowboy chat about the different kinds of coffee. Karen said she had a coffee-slurpie like deal. It made her nuts. Drew is drinking a coffee drink of some sort. He reads the date on the bottle. It has expired. Drew: Yech! Karen: Thank you, Big Brother. The houseguests chat about how many of the fruits and veggies are almost no good once Big Brother delivers them into the storage room. Cowboy talks about his phone call from home and how he asked to speak to Chason and he couldnt get anything out of him. Cowboy is proud that Chason called him Daddy. Cowboy says the first time Chason called him Daddy, he broke down and cried. John  Cowboy chats about possibly going to Chasons class and showing off the stuff he got from Big Brother...like his house key. Drew goes to throw something out and says the trash can is leaking. Drew, Diane and Cowboy talk about whether they have gone back and watched their high schools football games. J-Rod As far as the game goes, it would be brilliant for diane to get karen and then nakomis, who cannot win HOH this week, out. Then it would be her, drew, and cowboy in top three...and she may convince them she played the game best. If it is her, nakomis, and karen, she doesnt have a prayer of winning with that jury (esp because they could feel nakomis played the best game). What do you think? John  No matter what happens Diane cant win the jury vote. She is toast. Will is the only one on her side. She made enemies of both twins, she double-crossed Marvin and now she is considering backstabbing both Jenn and Karen. The jury will take her actions personally. If someone is just booted out and loses, that is one thing. If someone is betrayed and lied to that is quite another. Diane has some wonderful strategies but her gameplay is all wrong. Her biggest problem is she made alliances with everyone and then hung them all out to dry when she couldve pulled the strings and allowed someone else to take the heat, like Amber did with Rob in Survivor. There is a big difference between half a million and 50,000. It is shame Diane didnt realize that a long time ago. Of course, Diane might not even make it to the finals. John  Cowboy, Diane and Drew discuss the cameras in the house. Cowboy informs Diane and Drew that there is one behind the bathroom in the mirror. There is one at the hot tub and one in each bedroom. Diane hopes the Internet doesnt see into the HOH room. Cowboy seems to think that not all of the cameras in the house broadcast to the Internet. He talks of watching the series on the Net and on television.   John  Drew is trying to shave in the mirror. Diane buds in front of him to brush her teeth. Diane: I just couldnt take it any more. Drew looks perplexed. As she stands in his way, she apologizes. Catman When is the veto ceremony? John  Very soon. In less than an hour I would say. Dunno. John  Cowboy thinks that on the Internet, the viewers dont get to see the major parts of the game. Just them eating and sleeping. Karen sits in the bathroom and doesnt say a word to anyone. Jenn comes in to get washed. Diane is called to the Diary Room. Diane: What?!? Gawd! I am not ready! Gawd! Diane goes into the Diary Room. She comes running out. Diane: I asked them for five minutes and they are giving me three. They know better than to time me on anything! Rob Do you think there is a chance that Diane and Drew are conspiring to get Cowboy out and Diane wont use the Veto? John  It seems to me that Diane will be using the Veto on Drew and that will force Jennifer to nominate Karen. Diane has been hanging out more and more with Drew and Cowboy. She is pretty much cutting her ties with Karen and Jennifer. She has not talked hardcore strategy with them in some time. If she was conspiring to get Cowboy out, she would tell Karen and Jennifer that to make sure everyone is on board. We will have to see what the fallout of the Veto Meeting is and how the politics play themselves out. John  Everyone except Diane is on a lockdown outside the house as Diane prepares for the Veto Ceremony and speaks with the producers in the Diary Room. Drew plays some solitaire. The rest sit in pretty much dead silence. The houseguests start describing their solitaire experiences. John  All the feeds are at the fish tank. The Veto Meeting must be happening. When the feeds return Karen is in the kitchen. Diane is crying in the bedroom. Cowboy tells Diane that if he was in that position he wouldve done the same thing. Diane: It is a relationship thing. Diane crawls into bed with Drew. Diane: I feel like crap. Drew kisses Diane. Karen and Cowboy chat in the bathroom. They kid about creating an alliance. Cowboy: You and me to the end. Karen:..but neither of us can vote. They laugh together. John  Jennifer is in the HOH room listening to her music. Diane and Drew chat about her speech. Diane: Did I say it is just a game? Drew: Yes. Diane: Did I say I made two promises? Drew: Yes. Drew: It doesnt matter. They are going to be coming after me now. Diane: When Jennifer comes to me and asks if I am going to vote Cowboy out, I am just going to lie. It is the end, right? You have to lie. Drew: They will probably ask me who I am voting too. Diane: I have to lie and say we are keeping Karen. I have to lie there is no way around it. Diane tells Drew he has the perfect excuse. It was a girl versus guy thing since the very start. Drew is going to maintain that he is going to say he is voting to keep Cowboy in because if not, it will be him against three women. Karen comes into the bedroom. The strategy talk ceases. John  Cowboy goes back to bed. Drew leaves the bedroom. Karen and Diane are alone. Karen talks with Diane. Karen: I have trusted you from the start. Diane confirms that she and Drew are voting out Cowboy. Karen says that she understands what Diane had to do and trusts her. Diane tells Karen to speak to Drew and make sure he is on the same page and is voting out Cowboy like her. Karen leaves the bedroom. Cowboy sit up in bed in the wood room and stares at Diane through a window. It is not clear whether Cowboy heard the discussion between Karen and Diane or not. Karen meets Drew in the bedroom. Karen: It sucks that I have to pack. Karen tells Drew she trusts him. Karen says that it doesnt matter if she or Drew were up. Karen: You get the shiny necklace on your picture now. Karen heads off the check out the meat situation in the storage room. John  Karen and Jennifer chat in the bathroom. Karen tells Jenn that both Drew and Diane told her that nothing has changed and Cowboy is gone. Drew relates his converation with Karen to Diane. Drew says he had to promise Karen that he would tell her if his vote changed. Drew to Diane: You saved me. What do you want from me? Diane: I want a fly back to Dayton with you. Did you hear that Big Brother? Diane tells Drew to just keeping pushing the three women versus him deal if Cowboy were voted out. Diane and Drew kiss. Diane: I have never kissed anyone on national television before. Drew goes into the wood bedroom to have a nap leaving Diane in the cloud bedroom. Karen and Jenn are outside. Karen says that Diane is probably going to honour her final four with Drew and Cowboy. Karen: I am going home or sequester, whatever it is. Jenn says that if it is a tie vote, Cowboy is leaving. Cowboy says he promised to never vote her out but after all this, he isnt so sure any more. John  On the patio, Jennifer comments to Karen that she is hoping for a tie then she can say to him: Our blood is thinner than alcohol. In the late afternoon, everyone takes a nap.   John  Cowboy sleeps on as Diane and Drew yawn in bed. Drew says he might work out. Diane: Ewww! Diane: If I get up, what am I going to do? We are going to be the most rested people when we get out of here. Diane tells Drew she has no tendons in one of her fingers. Drew keeps yawning. Karen comes in. Karen says she got half an hours sleep. There was too much noise behind the walls and then they called her into the Diary Room. Karen comments that it is too cold in the house for her to sleep. Karen: I am so bored. Diane: Thats why I dont want to get up. John  Karen to the producers: Give us something. Anything! Even Sea Monkeys! Karen and Diane go off into the kitchen. Karen goes out to the patio table and shuffles the cards around. Karen and Diane rip on Cowboy for taking so long with the expensive steaks yesterday. Karen tells Diane, Cowboy is thinking of cooking pork chops tonight. Karen to Diane: You need to win HOH next week...or I do, unless you are voting me out because I am a skank. Diane jokes: You are a skank. Karen and Diane speculate that Big Brother might break the rule surrounding the current HOH having to sit out during the next HOH competition. John  Drew starts playing Two Ball alone. Diane and Cowboy chat in the bathroom. Cowboy thinks by him being on the block, it takes heat off of Drew and Diane. Diane is angry that Karen has thrown the pinky-swear deal in her face. Diane: She is just trying to make me feel guilty. Cowboy, Karen and Diane chat on the patio about how bored they are. Karen says she is unmotivated. The food is boring. The atmosphere is boring. Diane and Cowboy agree. Gary Currie Hi John, you are doing a fantastic job on bringing us up to date during the wait until the next TV show. Do you know how much these contestants get paid for being on the show? John  Thanks, Gary. No worries. I am glad that someone find my babble worthwhile. I believe the houseguests get a stipend of between $750 to $800 for each week they are in the game...including the times they are sequestered before, during and after the game. So, those who werent on the jury made very little for the time they were in the house. John  Jennifer is up and joins the others outside while Cowboy goes in to brush his teeth. Karen is examining her split ends. Diane and Drew play a game of Speed with the cards as everyone else watches. Jennifer is trying to figure out what competitions were in Big Brother 3. They each got to watch that season while they were sequestered. Diane: I am so bored. I dont know what to do with myself. It might be an early night tonight. John  Cowboy and Drew are now playing Speed. Drew: You know what I was thinking about? I have to do another goodbye message for Cowboy. No offence, Cowboy. Cowboy: None talen. Cowboy, Diane and Drew start playing cards together. Karen and Jennifer are watching. Alan Is there another veto competition or was that it? I cant remember if they had one in previous years when it got down to 4 people. John  Looking at past years, yes, there is a Veto Competition when there are four people left. That Veto Competition is usually the last of the season. When there are just three houseguests left, there is just an HOH Competition and the winner decides who they wish to take with them into the finals and who they want to send home. Chrissy Do you know if Jennifer will be able to compete for HOH on Thursday? If not, I fear this is the end of Nakomis. Diane sucks! John  I believe the rule holds true and that Jennifer cannot compete for HOH. Who knows with Big Brother. The producers might change that rule. Machismo Why do you think Adria decided to come on so strong and turn the house against them so early in the game? John  If I had to guess, I would say that Big Brother had a lot to do with that. Why else would she nominate Will when there were other easy targets sitting around? Her noms made no sense to me at all. Adria has said she kicked Will because he said to Girl Power he was coming after the twins. No one is sure what was going on in Adrias head. That would be my guess though. I love 50 Hey John...thanks for a great summers work...despite Nakomas antipathy toward her brother do you think theres any way she can parlay the blood-connection to save her after Karens inevitable demise???? John  That is a very good question. Jennifer might wanna try that strategy and knowing Cowboy, he might give it due consideration. I am not sure that Jennifer would do that though. She has been pretty much true to herself and if she dislikes Cowboy, I cant see her sucking up to him in that way. Anything can happen though. Mike There goes the neighbourhood. How can it be that Jennifer wins HOH and starts on her slide out the door? How can it be that the 3 people who are without a doubt, the least intelligent in the house are the last standing. Drew and Diane deserve each other. This years Jun Alison without the bile against other peoples kids. John  Well, the game isnt over yet. Someone could change their mind about things. What led us to the point we are at today? The twins twist contributed a lot to that as they were viewed as a single threat. That changed the game in a major way. Marvin electing to form an alliance with the absolute wrong person and Diane turning her back on Girl Power. Drew and Diane are indeed an odd couple. To me, they both look bad. I cant help but to think though that the finale of Survivor: All Stars had some influence here. Maybe I am way off the mark but it just seems too coincidental. I have to defend Drew though. He hasnt spouted very much bile in the game. He has thrown out a few insults but he has pretty much kept the trash talk to a minimum.   John  Diane, Drew, Jennifer and Cowboy are now playing cards while Karen watches. Drew makes a comment that Diane is the one to look out for. Diane clutches her chest and laughs. Karen: Is your heart breaking? Because mine is. Ouch! When the hand is done, Karen takes Dianes place. His Hers Why do you think the guy alliances fall apart so fast and why do the gals always insist on doing the gals vs. guys thing? It gets tiresome, the gender war angle is so overdone. John  I would assume some of the male alliances fail because there are too many alpha personalities in them. It is the old unwritten law about Survivor. If you have a tribe full of Alpha people, the Alphas will take each other out and the Betas will progress. If the tribe is full of Betas and one Alpha, the Alpha will most likely come out on top, like Brian did in Survivor: Thailand. To be fair, each group talks their smack about the guys versus gals thing. Me, I am tired of the whole scenario. It bores me to tears because I dont look at the world in those terms. Maybe because I was raise by a single mom, I dunno. That kind of angle is so predictable and really isnt the mind-set of most people of my generation and younger where gender roles dont come into play that much any longer. What I mean is like Dads changing diapers, staying home with their kids...etc. John  I know in my house, I do most of the cooking because I love it. My boredom with the whole gender war deal is why I was so disappointed to hear the layout of the new Survivor coming up. I just hope they dont stay female and male tribes for far too long.   John  The foursome are still dishing the cards, folks. Karen is promising to do better. Two feeds on the card game. Two feeds on the fishes. Diane comes back from the Diary Room. Cowboy and Dreew are the only ones who havent gone into the Diary Room today. Diane says she asked the producers for something other to do than play cards and watch the spiders outside. Dave Hi John, it seems like if things play out the way Diane and Drew would like, we will see them in the final two. What gets me is that Cowboy doesnt realize that he will likely be odd man out. Unless what Drew really plans on doing is take Cowboy with him into the final 2. I highly doubt that though. Jennifer and Karen are getting toasted. If Cowboy doesnt align with Jennifer she is gone too. Do u think that it will likely be a Drew/Diane final?. John  I would advise the players and the viewers not to count the chickens before they are hatched. Politics in the game can change. If Jennifer goes up this week and wins the Veto, the whole house of cards could come crumbling down. What would really put the current scheme into a tail-spin is a Cowboy - Jennifer alliance or Jennifer winning Veto and then the final HOH competition. There is no doubt that Jennifer could very well pull this one out of the fire. Cowboy understands the deal. He is just a little too trustworthy though. Diane and Drew in the final is a possibility and nothing more at this point. John  Drew is called into the Diary Room. Diane leaves too to take a shower. Karen and Jennifer are sick of playing cards. Karen: I am really bad at it. Cowboy: No you arent. Karen tells Cowboy that she and Drew are all meated out and probably wont have the pork chops tonight. Cowboy is going to cook them any way and put them in the fridge. When Cowboy leaves, Karen relates her conversation with Diane earlier to Jennifer. Jennifer says if Cowboy is in the house next week, she will choke him. Jennifer: I cant stand to be around him any more. He makes me sick. He is turning into my Jase. Jennifer: I am tired of this whole $^##$ thing. Karen about Diane: This is all her power trip. Karen rips on Diane for her speech at the Veto Meeting saying she had to be true to a promise. Karen: There was only one promise. John  Jennifer says that Diane told her was going to vote to keep Karen. Jennifer complains that Cowboy doesnt talk to her at all. Karen: April and Chason. April and Chason. Jennifer doesnt want to be alone in the house and be outnumbered. Karen: The final two both get to win. Jennifer. I would love to hang out with Drew and Diane but Cowboy wont go away. Diane comes outside and says that Cowboy is following her around. Karen thinks that when Cowboy sleeps he sucks his thumb. Jennifer: You know what I noticed is that Diane is the person you can influence the most in this game. Jenn says when she spoke good about Cowboy, Diane loved him too. Now that she cant stand him, neither can Diane. Karen says Diane has no self-esteme and no confidence.   John  Jennifer tells Karen she spoke to Drew about who he was voting out. Drew told her Cowboy because he is a shoe-in when it comes to the jury vote. Jennifer says that if any of the competitions are endurance, Diane will lose especially if it something to do with cold because she has very little body fat. Inside, Drew and Diane argue about the jury. Diane says she feels bad about backstabbing Karen and Jennifer but doesnt like the chances of two battling two. Diane and Drew discuss how they are going to convince Cowboy to vote Jennifer out if it comes to that. Drew is going with the fact that Jennifer wants him out this week instead of Karen. Diane: It is just a game, right? Drew: Right. Diane says that it will be easy because Karen wont know what hit her and they would only have to deal with Jennifer for one week. Diane: Maybe if you win HOH, you should put up me and Jennifer? Drew: Thats what I was thinking. Drew and Diane get ready to work out. John  In the kitchen, Diane, Drew, Jennifer and Karen complain about having to eat much of the same food all the time. They wish Big Brother would bring them Chinese food or fast food. Cowboy joins Drew and Diane as they work out. Karen thinks it would be cool. Drew too. Diane says she wouldve smoke everyone at the morphed faces competition. Diane asks Drew if besides the HOHs he could battle for, if he has played in all the other competitions. He says he has. Diane: Thats weird.   John  Cowboy about the Internet viewers: Who would want to sit around and watch this? Karen: Mom, I am telling you now. Get a refund. Diane says she babysits tons of kids and plays games with them. Diane: I hare hide and seek even though I am the best hider in the world. The houseguests are going to play hide and seek. Well, Drew and Cowboy are. Drew goes off to hide. Drew is trying to squeeze under the sink. Cowboy counts in the backyard. Diane slides some stools and towels in front of Drew. Drew tells Diane not to. He will caught. Karen about Cowboy: Here he comes! Cowboy finds Dew in three seconds flat. Cowboy says the hiding spot was obvious because the stools were there.   John  Drew goes outside. Cowboy hides behind the sofa. It takes Drew longer to find Cowboy but he does. He saw his hand or something. Cowboy goes out to count. Drew is gonna hide. John  Cowboy enters the house after counting to 50 Cowboy: Here I come! Cowboy dashes all over and looks in the storage room. Karen watches from the kitchen. Karen: Smart cookie. Searching the storage room. Cowboy searches the bedrooms. Nothing. Cowboy to Karen: He didnt go to Diary Room did he? Karen says she didnt see where Drew went. John  Cowboy still cant find Drew. Karen jokes: It is not like you dont know this house, Cowboy. Cowboy starts searching the cabinets in the kitchen. Karen is killing herself with laughter. Karen: Like he can fit in there. Cowboy looks outside. Karen: Like he could go outside. You were counting out there. Drew was in one of the kitchen cupboards. Karen, Drew and Cowboy laugh. Karen says she was dying because she isnt a good liar. Karen: Thats insane. You guys are nuts. John  Drew hurt his arm hiding. He is bleeding. Drew: I do whatever it takes to hide. Diane is doing laundry. She says she might hide under the sink in the kitchen. Drew washes his cut off. Cowboy whispers to Drew that he should hide in the Diary Room. Karen pours some antiseptic on Drews cut. Drew: I got cut playing hide and seek. What a clutz! John  Cowboy goes outside and helps Diane with her laundry. Drew is doing some as well. Diane: I promise that if I go and hide, you guys would have to quit and give up. Cowboy says he could find her in two minutes. Diane: Not in two minutes. Drew: Its awwwn! Diane: I hate the way my hands feel after doing the laundry. Drew and Cowboy promise they wont cheat. Diane: I am not ready. Drew: Why? Diane: I havent found a place to hide. I gotta wash my hands any way. Jennifer plays solitaire.   John  Diane inside: There is nowhere to hide in this house. I hope you know that. Drew and Cowboy go hide as Diane is instructed to count to 150 outside. Drew is going into a kitchen cabinet. Karen tells Diane that Drew hid under the sink. Cowboy hides under the kitchen table. Diane calls Cowboy so stupid for checking outside. Karen suggests that Diane hide under the HOH bed. Diane counts by the back gate and discusses strategy with Diane. Diane wants Karen and Jennifer to distract the boys while she hides. John  Diane finds the boys in no time. Drew and Cowboy find out Diane cheated. Drew: I dont want to play with a cheater. Diane is sent outside to count again. Drew chats about them going outside too and hiding in the hot tub. Drew looks outside: They are all talking right now. I bet they are talking strategy. Drew goes outside and tells Diane to count again so they can hide properly this time. Karen and Jennifer rat on the boys wanting to hide outside when the boys ggo inside.   John  Drew tries to hide in one of the tables but almost gets stuck. Cowboy wants them to go to the Diary Room or the Storage Room. Drew: Such cheaters. Cowboy suggests that they just let Diane hide. DThey go outside and tell Diane to hide. Diane says she needs one accomplice and one to watch them. Cowboy: We didnt have anyone. Diane: You had each other! Diane: You have five minutes to find me. Karen stays outside to watch the boys. Cowboy: We dont cheat. The boys question Karen on why she told Diane. Diane is hiding behind the HOH bed with the mattress pulled out a bit. Feeds cut to the fish tank. John  When the feeds return, Drew and Cowboy are in the HOH room. They found Diane because she was laughing. The houseguests mention something about the producers having to fix a door. The houseguests are in a lockdown in the HOH room. The panic door is broken. John  Karen jokes that they could put on the spy cam and watch whoever is fixing the door. Diane to the boys: Why did you run so fast to the HOH room? Drew: Because we are better players. Drew wrestles with Diane in the kitchen as Cowboy watches. Drew: I dont cheat and try to lie afterwards. Diane: Sore loser. Drew tries to help Diane up. She doesnt want his help. Drew says to the camera: Whatever she says, it is not true. He tries to help her up again. Diane: Rape! Rape! Rape! Drew gives up. Diane gets up and says to Cowboy: We just made asses of ourselves. Cowboy: Whats new? We do that every day.   John  Drew and Cowboy question Diane over cheating at hide and seek. Drew: You are a liar at hide and seek. Diane: Who gives a s--t. You guys are silly. Cowboy: I hope the lockdown is over soon because we can out hide you, Diane. Diane: You think. Diane: Stop it. It just hide and seek. The boys continue to give her the third degree. Drew: It is not just hide and seek. She is trying to back out of a lie without looking like a liar. John  Drew mentions how Diane lied to Marvin. Diane: Dont go there. It is over. Just let it go. Drew and Diane collapse on the couch together. Diane checks out Drews ears. Drew to Diane: Cheater. Diane: Cheater. Cheater. Pumpkin eater. You cant handle the truth. Diane: That was a fun 30 minutes though. Drew doesnt respond. Di to Drew: Are you sleeping already? Cowboy is in the front room too now. Diane rubs Drews back as everyone sits in the front room. The houseguests talk about who they miss of the people kicked out. They joke about missing Jase. Cowboy seriously: I miss Jase. John  Karen: I am going to bed early tonight. I am so bored. Diane: Me too. The houseguests chat about how they missed summer in the Bog Brother house. Diane and Karen chat about cleaning tomorrow and what other laundry needs to be done. The feeds go to the fish tank and the lockdown is over. The houseguests are going to play cards again to pass the time.
