MODERATOR  Raffi Torres is still being contacted, and we hope to have the chat up very soon. Thank you for your patience, and please keep an eye on the chat!
Sarah what are your impressions of game 3 and what do you expect fromthe Aeros on game 4
Raffi  Game 3 everybody felt really positive. We definitely needed that one it was a big game. And game four, we just have to make sure we go in there with the mentality that we can steal another one in there.
mackenzie was it hard for you to join the bulldogs mid season and mesh with them so well?
Raffi  I left a good bunch of guys in Bridgeport, but everything happens for a reason, and its been fun ever since.
BILL MULCAHY HOW IS THE ICE IN HOUSTON COMPARED TO HAMILTON , THE ICE IN GAME 2 LOOKED PRETTY BAD.
Raffi  Its pretty much the same thing. This time of the year youre not going to get hard ice, or the ice you want, so you just have to deal with it.
E-Town How do you like playing with Bill Lindsay. Do you think playing with the veteran has helped your game in anyway. If so could you please explain.
Raffi  Definitely. Hes definitely a real all-around contender. Hes always ready to go. I just read off him and try to make my game to the level hes at.
Mark for Rochester It it werid playing for Hamilton in the Finals this year. When last year your goal knocked Hamilton out of the Eastern Finals, and put Bridgeport in the Finals?
Raffi  Theres been a few jokes about it, but the main thing is that now Im on this team and I have to worry about how to help them.
Harry Whats the difference between the finals this year with Hamilton and last year with Bridgeport?
Raffi  Well, its tough to say, but with Hamilton theres a lot of players that are really committed to getting the Calder Cup.
Sam What do you think of Hamilton overall as a hockey town?
Raffi  You get your diehard fans who know you well, and its good to know theres people out there supporting you.
Molly Raffi,
Im Doing this Career project for school, and im doing a Professional hockey player. I was wondering what special training is needed to get into the professional level and how hard it was ( or easy) for you to get at the level you are today..thanks!
Raffi  Theres not really special training, but you need to really work on your legs, and you have to have a lot of agility to move quickly. Its a matter of working on your core exercises.
Geri How do you feel coming into Houston for three consecutive road games, especially after the game on Friday? Is the team rested and prepared?
Raffi  Yeah definitely. I think the main thing we wanted to do was get one game, which weve done already. Now we have to get greedy a bit and hopefully take one more. Its not going to be easy here, but were going to try.
Rhonda Rrrraffi! Great to have you on our side this year and good luck down there in Houston tomorrow - my heart with be with you and all the boys. What are some of your most memorable moments with the Dogs this year?
Raffi  Its been pretty memorable my whole time here. Meeting new guys, and any time you move up in the playoffs, its something you wont forget.
Sarah Who is your favorite teammate
Raffi  I dont really have one. Theres a lot of great guys on the team. Its too hard to pick just one.
redhat Do you think youll crack the Oilers lineup next season?
Raffi  I dont really know. Im going to work hard and do whatever I can to make the team. If its meant to be, its meant to be.
Lorri You have a very unique name. Being from Toronto (quite a cultural melting pot) what type of cultural background do you have that stems a name of Raffi??
Raffi  My father was born in Mexico City, and my mom was born in Lima, Peru.
Kimberly Hey Raffi, how did you feel when you received the news youd be going to the team you eliminated from the playoffs last season? Best of luck in Hamilton and Edmonton. Im gonna miss your trips back forth here in Islander Country!
Raffi  I was in shock. It was my first time being traded. I didnt know what to expect. But the guys made it pretty easy for me when I got here though.
AerosFan Hi Raffi.
Johan Holmqvist of the Aeros is one of, if not the best, goalies in the AHL. What do you and your team need to do to get past him?
Thanks!
Raffi  We just have to keep shooting the puck on him. We made sure to do that in game 3 and we were lucky to get some goals. Hes definitely a great goalie, but we just have to keep shooting pucks on the net.
Ryan How does it feel to be in the calder cup
finals ?
Raffi  Its definitely an honour being here for the second year in a row.
LeebFan If you could change one thing about the way you play what would it be and Why?(Example:Speed, harder shots..)
Raffi  I think everyone wants to be faster out there. If youre faster you just get that many more chances.
Raffi  Thanks for taking the time to ask questions, its really fun doing these things.
MODERATOR  Thanks again to everyone who asked questions and followed the chat. Keep your eye on theahl.com for our next guest!
